A lightweight yet ultra stiff and powerful 48 mm racing boom which is mainly suitable for the more experienced, heavier weight sailors above 45 kg.
This boom comes with an improved bridle system, an adjusted outhaul cleat position and a colored PRO outhaul trimstrip.

The MK3 MEDIUM mast fits perfectly in our mast range between the regular MK3 and MK3 FLEX; it’s 8% more flexible compared to the MK3 mast and 8% stiffer compared to the MK3 FLEX mast. The MK3 MEDIUM mast for the Optimist is mainly suitable for sailors from 30 to 40 kg.
